Default Kevin and Kevin's Excellent Adventure Begins

Today we bought a neglected 90 Slate Grey GT. Or at least we think it is under all this. More pictures to to come as the restoration goes.

Nice find. Looks like they had flames drawn on the driver's window (lol). At least they didn't do it to the paint.

No motor? What makes you think it's a GT Kevin? VIN? S4 wheels.

Kind of a long story. The GT's block is in another car the PO owned - that S4 suffered a thrust bearing failure. We bought that car too. We'll be mating the engine back together. Have the GT cams, heads, everything necessary to restore the car.

No clue on where the Design 90 wheels ended up.

Look at the redline on the tach. If it's 6200 - then it's an S4. Very rare for someone to change the cluster out.

There ya go. Would be nice to find the D-90 wheels again.

Good luck, looks like it need a bit of TLC. Nice investment though.

Damage to PS door when a something at the shop took out the mirror and put a nasty dent in the door. Car comes with another door.

As the other Kevin, I thought I would provide some more details. The body panels (other than passenger door) are all in great shape and I think a good detailer will have the paint shining after spending a few hours with her. The car was last registered in 2000 so she has been sitting for awhile.

I also like the interior as it's not common and certainly didn't expect it in a slate grey metallic car.

Driver's side bolster has a little wear but not bad considering it was only driven 10 years of its life.. The pod does have a crack in it but the dash is in really good shape.

looking forward to helping Kevin put her back together as she has great potential and as we all k know, they aren't making anymore of them!

Interior looks like it'll clean up nice for the most part. Dashboard and pod look great...

Rare color combo for sure! Slate grey (one of the best colors) with chestnut brown leather (rare). Nice find and looking forward to it being put back together.

Congrats!
