Default rear quarter trim removal

There is a trim strip that runs along the inside edge of the door opening on each side, at the leading edge of the rear quarter trim piece. See picture for crude arrow (very Daniel-esque I might add).
How does this piece come off? I need to re-glue the top part as the vinyl is peeling back.

That's what I thought Jerry, but wasn't sure. Here's another picture. Will it be stretched and unusable if I pull it off?

Thanks for the picture Ed,
I think since this is an early version it is not like the picture that Jerry is showing,
I think the the panel is installed by hooking it onto the door jamb seam then anchoring it front to back.

IOW to remove the front edge you would need to remove the seat,
then the bolts holding the panel to sides of the car,
and the seatbelt anchor then the panel would be pushed forward to remove it.

That said It might be easier to put some Weldwood adhesive on a stick,
and work it into the opening,
use a hair drier to set the adhesive,
then press it into place

Thanks Stan. That may be what I do. Anyone else with early cars who have taken them apart? Jim, Rob, William?
