Hello I'm thinking of buying a 1982 , 928 .
Know nothing about the auto , it's just a design that I love , a sexy car.
what questions should I be asking and what are the common problems if any with these autos.
any help would be appreciated
Thanks in Advance Paul

There's no better start than at the "new visitors" tread, as the others point out. In parallel, share your location so folks nearby can tell you about gatherings, cars & coffee events, or other clinics that would give you some hands-on and face time with some cars and owners. Most folks here are more than generous towards others who share the same interests in these wonderful cars.
Searching here will also get you some specific threads on barn-find and what might appear to be "bargain" purchases. If you fall into a category of buyers who "don't want to work on it. I just want a car I can drive!" then you rule out virtually all of the "bargain" purchases, especially if your definition of "bargain" includes "cheap to buy". Once in a while there's a diamond in the rough of course, never rule out that possibility. Most likely an owner who's been spending and working to keep a 928 in great condition isn't inclined to offer it at a low price. The higher-priced but well maintained example is the true "bargain" in my opinion.
Anyway, look at as many cars as you can before making a decision. The "new visitors" thread at the top is a great way to start, and hopefully will add to your perspective as you look at any 928 to purchase and enjoy.
