Default Bargain Porsche Book at Barnes&Noble

I was at Barnes & Noble the other day and picked up this book off the clearance shelf called "The Ultimate History of Porsche" It's basically a coffee table book but has some great photos and about six pages covering the 928. Also, on the front and rear inside covers of the book is the backside of a 928 with S2 badge. I paid 12 bucks or something like that. I found this other book called "Porsche: The Road From Zuffenhausen" that gives a lot of space to the 928, and it looks like a good history in general, but it's a pretty steep $75.

Muchas gracias for the heads up! Just placed the order, which ended up being only $40.50 with my B&N membership and free shipping.

Aaron,
Thanks...will stop at the local B&N on my way home to see what they have in stock. I'm looking for a copy of the book "Project 928" which I'm sure is long out of print.
Best,
Tim

I have seen "Project 928" sell for $350 on eBay. I do not keep my copy on the coffee table.

Thanks for the heads-up, Aaron.
Went to local B&N. Hung out in the
magazine section looking for 'GT' magazine.
Very nice Porsche rag from England.
This cute blond comes by and checks out
'911 & Porsche World' and 'Excellence'
What's this?
Being the idiot I am I asked if she liked "Porshas."
Reply was: "My husband is."
So I lead her to the stack of 'Ultimate History of Porsche"
Should have asked if she had a sister.
Such a treat to come home after long day at work and
find the Missus having purchased a Porsche book for the hubby.
He's one lucky guy.

Ernest(NYC)
Guess I'll be gunning for "Road to Zuff" and someday
"Projeckt 928."
Maybe someday if I'm real nice David Trackmeister Lloyd will
let me sneak a peek at his copy. Probably have to don those
museum white cotton gloves first.
