Default Question:Intake/exhaust valves for m28/21 engine and late 16v

I was told that m28/21 engines and late 16v engines have bigger valves 45mm/37mm Vs early engine with 43/34mm. True? I cannot find this information anywhere. Thank you.

It's hard to generalize with all the engines Porsche made but, yes, the Euro S engines (m28.11/12/21/22) got larger valves than some other 16V engines. The "S" valves are shared with 944 engines.

All 4,7L 16V engines rated to 300hp (K-Jetronic) and 310hp (LH-Jetronic) here in Europe do have the larger valves (intake 45mm, exhaust 40mm).
