anodized rims
So...I made the mistake a couple years ago and used a Meguiars Hot Rim cleaner on my anodized rims...which destroyed the finish.
Any ideas as to how I can get these rims to look like new again?

I have to confess I'm not sure what the process was. Based on 3 minutes of internet reading, the process is strip the old anodizing with NaOH, polish, and then re-anodize. Al's shop is known for polishing, but I'm pretty sure they send the anodizing out. (The area around 928Intl and Al's is rich in aerospace and manufacturing firms, so I'd guess the anodizing place is local too) IIRC it was $150 per wheel.

No personal experience but a buddy said they do good work.
