Default We are stocking Ball Joint Boots now

I now have stock on replacement ball joint boots for your upper ball joints. This replaces those ball joints with the green and red spring clamps, as shown.

If the ball joint boot is cracked, dirt and water can get inside the joint and ruin it. If that has already happened, we have rebuilt upper A-Arms available as well as rebuild kits to rebuild your own early upper ball joint.

Are these the same as the ones on the 928 or different (these are for 944/968).

As there was no answer I assume this was a mistake and should have been posted in the 924/944/968 forum.

Sorry if I did not answer you fast enough. I am not at my keyboard that often. It was not a mistake and it has also been posted to the 944 forum.

Yes, these do fit the 928, with one proviso: look at your 928 ball joints and confirm your upper ball joint has the rubber boot secured with the two springs as shown. If it is, then these are the right replacement boots.

You guys are like a couple of old banty roosters. Always picking on each other.

$8.20 is about $.03 cheaper than my locale auto house.

Don't we have a written or at least a courtesy rule that our sponsors/vendors don't post to each other's product threads? If not, let's make one.

I have been asking for that for years. I think it a professional courtesy to allow a vendor unfettered access from other vendors.

That would be a stupid rule and as a sponsor I am totally against it.

In this case I was trying to clarify if the parts were for a 928 with a view to maybe purchasing them. My whole point was to help Carl out and not be antagonistic. At no point were my posts rude, offensive or unconstructive.

If you mods continue like this no one will want to post anymore. Get a life!!

PISSED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can one of the mods please call me to discuss?????????????????

Obviously touched a nerve here. I was not at all being critical of any particular person's responses.

After watching recent threads where casual suggestions deteriorated quickly into hostile pissing contests, a gentle question about etiquette seemed appropriate. Sorry that it was taken as offensive by some.

I'm going back to work.
