Default S4 in NH

There is an s4 on ebay located in NH. Obviously owned by a 928 fan considering the description and the looks of the car.

I was wondering if anybody here owned the car?

Gretch I did a car fax yesterday on the 88 we taked about a week ago. It is still there as of Saturday-no takers. Did you get a chance to see it yet?

Not me but I think it may be a guy down the street from where I work. He always has 2-5 928s for sale and is always getting new ones.

A bit chagrined to say I have not, my schedule has not been cooperative at all. But maybe a good start would be for you to ask the guy for any repair history paperwork he has (fax copies), cause that was the first question that I intended to ask. His answer will tell you a great deal.

If you still have an interest in the car, I will force the issue with my schedule and get by to see it. The car is prolly not going anywhere soon as we put them away in the next few weeks and all the local hot rodders thoughts turn to the new crop of sleds...........

I will call him and see what he has for records. I was planning to take a ride on Saturday to see it if I like what I hear from him.

If not the search will continue!

I seem to be stuck on buying an S4 rather than an earlier car. Any thoughts?

S4 is a stronger package, but more complex. Usual advice around here is: buy the best car you can afford, and look at them REAL hard.
