That connecting screw looks less than elegant.

Any chance you can lose it for some grub screws under a hidden collar?

Looking for one pretty much like this in Classic Grey with aluminum accents:

The screw is hidden under the shift boot, even with the stock accordion unit.

Randy,

you have one screw like that one on each side. They hold the shifter in place. Nylon spacer and guide permits the travel up/down.

It's great to have you back, Paul.

If you just joined Rennlist in the past 5 years or so and haven't seen his work, it's flawless.

Hey guys,

thank you all for your support. This intro as been a nice success.

Just as a head's up, the special will close at the end of the month.
But hopefully, I will introduce another new product around the same time.

Thanks again

Paul

Very nice.

Just installed mine, replacing an aging Jager **** (with Jager short shift boot and cover plate).

What is the purpose of extended plastic collar at the base of the ****? I can't get my boot to go over it to cover it up and make a clean transition from **** to boot.

An FYI for those that have auto's and the shifter grates are pooched. I picked one of these up from Paul many years ago and it came with the surround that has the adhesive. Instead of using that I bought a 5 speed surround from Rog and put it on the boot. Fits perfect and snaps in place with no chance of moving around. This is a fantastic product from Paul, I wouldn't hesitate to jump on another one if I needed one.

Hey Randy,

your boot should go over the collar. Your boot might be a bit tight. You can shave or sand some of the collar to get the boot to go over it.
The way I do it is to get one of the tabs in the collar of the boot and then turn the **** while holding the boot. Kind of "screwing" it in. Being careful not to damage the leather.

Also for those who bought a shifter and have not received the email with the instructions, here it is:

Just got mine over the weekend for Turq. The current shifter is a little loose and creates a slight rattle on acceleration. Looking forward to putting this one on. Plus, Paul matched the same Pascha as the interior so it's going to look really nice.

Is that a manual shift pattern on the rear wiper switch?

Sure is. Pressing that button converts the transmission to a 5-speed manual.
