refitting windshield washer tank
Ok, so I've managed to remove the tank, clean it, check the high pressure washer, and steam clean the inner fender and components.
Now, fitting the tank back is problematic. I cannot seem to get it in far enough for the metal strap to reach the stud on the body. I have put at least 2 hours into this.
Is it easier to take off the outer fender and perform this rubik's maneuver?
Cheers

the tank should easily slide back into position you might try removing the charcoal cannister first

The cannister looks like it's tucket up inside there even tighter.
I can slide the washer tank back in place. But for some reason, I can't get the metal strap back in position enough to slide over the stud on the inner fender. And, yes, it's in the recess in the tank.

from your info try lifting the tank up once its in the fender ,
then the strap should lay across it easily
