Selling my ROW 1989 S4 Manual/M220
Hi there.
I guess maybe this is not for US buyers since tax/shipping/asking price probably will kill any deal...but at least I get to show off some pictures of this beauty
Original C10 Switzerland car, original paint except hood, no known accidents, full service history. 157000km (98000 miles).
Asking price USD 35000

beautiful example, and I think priced right. I like where Stan's head is, but the market isn't in the same place yet. Values are generally flat across the board, Porsches included, except for very special cars (re Derek Bell's Club sport).

Such a nice car, yes the price is too low! Dubai is looking for cars like Yours.

Ed trust me, the crazy money is coming,
OP try marketing it in another avenue,
I have been getting occasional calls from 911 seekers looking for nice 928s,
as the the 911s are beyond reach and some might say reasonableness price wise.
These prospective buyers have big money for a nice car,
now if it was possible to make most of them believe that a 928 with 80K miles is just barely broken in,
and has a whole lot more to give.

I always disregard burgundy interiors, that is until I see one as clean as this. Very nicely kept car.
Hey, is there a "how to" to get the cargo net so neat?
GLWS!

The non-US market pricing is undoubtedly different, especially for cars that present as well as this one. Were it being offered in the US, the price is likely where you would want to end up after all negotiations. US buyers need to feel that they are getting a better deal, so initial asking price needs to leave that allowance. I would edit the US price up, add a note about how you will work with an international buyer and their shipper, and see what happens.
Special cars and special situations may deserve a bit of patience, so the right buyer can meet your car.

This is a special and amazingly well-kept car. Mine was amazingly well-kept too until I saw your pictures; now I have more cleaning to do.

Great looking car. Curious about the rear carpet in the trunk. Its that a replacement? Which vendor?

rear carpet
The second clue is the depth of the pile. It looks more similar to the Lloyds mats than the thin pile of the siverknit elsewhere in the car.
In my 88. The rear carpet is the same pile as the doors, carpets and backs of rear seats.
Your trunk carpet is much nicer than mine
