Default Amsoil

I noticed Amsoil is popular amongst the 928 group. I also noticed that it's used alot for those that race. I assume that for racing something like 20W-50 is the right choice.

I'm interested in whether non-racers use Amsoil in their cars and what grade you use?

Mark, I use Amsoil 20w-50 racing oil in my GT for road and track use. I am pretty sure that Porsches reccomendations are for 20-50 in the summer anyway. The newer models run a thinner viscosity and it is supposedly retroactive back long before our cars. Still, running one oil sure simplifies things.
