Default Need help identifying this loose part found on top of the engine

Came across this while cleaning the back of the motor. Looks like some sort of snap-on rod end. Obviously broken now. Any idea of where it goes and what it did? Thanks in advance!

It's a broken off nipple to a vacuum line.

Not sure which one though.

Thanks guys! So is this where it used to live? If so looks like it was replaced and the new one is broke as well. The new one's plastic is still white, so probably not that old. Is this a common failure or are the tubes routed incorrectly and causing too much stress on this piece?
