RMB recommendation

Brings up a point.......does anyone make, or is willing to make a
black RMB that does not loose its finish. I have had a stainless version in the past and it was very nice, but would like a nice black version that stayed that way.......would powder coating be the way to go? Buy an unfinished version and have it coated......pros?........cons?

All of our Black RMBs are now powder coated for a long lasting finish the earlier RMB were painted with high temp exhaust paint and can be easily touched up as needed . The 3 inch dual pipe stainless units are well.....polished stainless . We also use flat metal mounting straps with adjustment holes which helps get a proper fit .

Jim, the RMB that I got from you in august is the powder coated one?
It has lost a lof of the black finish and it looks like if it's been burned off.
I'll try and get a picture of it later today.

Anders: Don't go too wild for too long - we don't want you to blow the rod bearings on this nice car. Go fast, but stay on the safe side. Too many of the 4-valve engines died on German Autobahns lately because of that...
(I'm sure you followed the recent thread about this)
