The photo’s aren’t photoshopped. Well that is not entirely true. You’re right BCDavis, They are “analog” photo’s I took with my camera, but did a bad scan. They came out a bit dark. I should have adjusted the darkness with the scanning. (I used one of those crappy 3-in-one scanner/printer.) So I took a photo editing software (iGrafx Image in this case) and used the magic wand to select the darkest area en lightened that two tones. That’s the only editing I did. In the last picture I used a so called sundown-filter on my reflex camera. The reason that looks a bit unnatural is because the sun is still high in the sky.

Or do you mean the before/after picture Lizard?

A friend of mine had changed to the cup wheels, so he had these design '90 for sale. His car is a '90 S4 and also has the RDK. His cup wheels hadn't. I found it important to have the RDK.
After some serious polishing the wheels came out as in the picture.
Do yours have the RDK? What are those, cup1?

Gregg, I feel your pain. just hold in there buddy! What's taking them so long?
I think the wheels you have are not Design90 but the 928GT wheels, I'm looking for such a set or those.

The set on mine are GTS wheels and the previous owner bought the car from Porsche with them on in 1993. They might even have been on the car since new, was a company car 1991-93.

No, they actually really are design ’90 rims. The Club sport rims are flat.
Here you can see a pic of polished GT club sport wheels:

Your car originally was delivered 1990-1991 with the Design ’90 wheels with RDK. But from 1992 untill 1993 the GTS was delivered with the cup 1 wheels with RDK. It is of course possible that the former “Werkswagen” already was delivered with the cup1 wheels or modified during that period it was owned by them. They should have the RDK than though.

Yep, I have the RDK on my wheels. Should've answered that in my previous post but my TEFLON(TM) memory (fast but non-sticking) didn't help there..

Those are '91 (or so) Club Sport wheels. I was going to post this last night. These are the '89 Club Sports. I really like the later Clubs.

Hey! That lamp really looks like a 928-popup.. Cool, thanks for noticing!

The colour of the car is an Amethyst metallic (dark purple metallic), Sonderlackierung.
