In Europe, most Porsche models had standard cloth seats; leather was optional. This plaid style was one of the cloth options offered in the mid-90ies.
Remember: European cars in Europe are not as nicely equipped as they are here in the US. If you want to buy a European car in Europe, with the US standard equipment, be prepared to spend another 20% on options. And then consider the Euro-Dollar exchange rate of 1.2 Dollars to 1 Euro, as well as the VAT that starts at 33% in GErmany and can go extremely high in Denmark. We are getting bargains on European cars over here...
