Default Max Jack $1999- thru 12/31 free shipping

I've been looking at hoists and what do you know- Home Depot has them listed
as an internet sale. Free shipping to your local store and they have plenty of forklifts to load it on your truck or trailer. Probably best to order in person at the help desk so you have printed paperwork.

Details here:

- go to their site & put in "dannmar max jack"

It's a must for a car guy who:

1) has a garage
2) works on his car
3) likes to clean his car thoroughly.
4) is tired of rolling on the ground like snake to get under the car.

A lift is the best tool in my tool box.
If you have a GT3 w/ very low clearance, not a problem.
If you have a cayenne - not a problem.
I have both- no issues.

It's on my shortlist this winter. Since Bill gave up his 4 poster, we've been looking for a replacement. My cars spend a lot of time in the air, so this would help a lot.

Mine just completed holding the car up for a MM/OPG replacement. I bought this lift very soon after the last MM project on the car about ten years ago. This lift is at or near the top of my "best garage investments" list.

The Big Advantage of this lift for me is that it can be moved out of the way when not in use. There are times when a full-height 2-post asymetric lift would be a little more convenient, but none meet the "rolls out of the way when not in use" criteria.

Get a couple >10' hose extensions if you plan to use it a lot, with an eye to wall-mounting the pump and routing the hoses out of the way.

Use hydraulic fluid instead of ATF, and have fewer seepage issues at the cylinder seals.

I have a total of 16 anchors set in the floor to add a couple more spacing options. The lift comes with 10.

as winter is now fully upon on us here in the Great White North I am looking at reorganising my garage including the placement of the MaxJax controller.

Im thinking of mounting the controller onto the garage wall with extended hoses which frees up valuable floor space.

Would appreciate hearing from and viewing pics of what others have done.

Not meaning to hijack the OP but to add content

Some have mounted the unit to the jack itself. In lieu of the that I had my local hydraulic company build an extension that I loop across the roof of my garage that allows me to place the unit next to the jack. No more lines on the ground.

According to the invoice it was 192" 3/8 power jack hose. There is no mention of the fittings, but I bet they are mentioned in your owner's manual. That was to run it up the rafters and attached to the 2 by 4's.
