This probably won't help you but I have the the Strosek Monoblocs in 17x9 and 17x8. Maybe this will help considering Strosek seems to be RUF's second cousin! The wheel are definitely lighter than the stock Design 90s, of course. I think my car has the rolled fender lip at the rear and I'm not sure if your '87 does. Rear clearance is close but not threatening.
