Does anyone have a pattern for covering the rear interior quarter panels?
I'm pulling and reshaping mine. Typically, the leather had dried and warped them. I'm planning on recovering in vinyl. I'm trying to make a pattern but the leather has stretched and shrunk so that I can't get it to lay flat to trace onto the butcher paper.
Does anyone already have this done and can share? If not, I'll wing it and see how it comes out.
(Yes, I know Classic9 sells one, but I'm working on a budget. )

like many leather covered parts in our 928 the rear panels are no exaption and was coverd by putting tension to the lether in some ereas, especially at the curved ones. after you striped the old leather you can strip the old foam as well if its also bad and get a fresh start. Mark in light coloured marker the location of stitches. then I uses a special fabric that i can lay it down and make a new pattern, tracing the marking from first satge so at the end I get 3 pices of fabric that are the templates I'll use to cut the leather/vinyl. then putting one pice of template on the row material duplicating the shape remembering to add 1 cm where the stitich will be. then sewing it all together and gluing it.

I had the same problem with one of my quarter panels. In the end, I took the panel to an upholstery shop (with shrunk leather mostly still in place) and they replicated stitching, etc. with vinyl. It matches the other side (original) nicely. I think it cost me about $200.
