Can't remember if the '77-86 water pump is compatible with the '87-up when used with the Porken tensioner system?

I believe so as the only difference is the Stock Tensioner Piviot pully mounting point which is not used and the bolt hole plugged when utilizing the PK Tensioner.

Which was the reason I placed my order too.
If anyone has experience why this early wp wouldn't work with my 89 with PK please chime in.

The early water pump works perfectly on the 87+ cars if you are using a PKT.
