Default CE Panel Wiring Question

All -

1983 USA S model. I have no power to the ECU Computer. I do have power to pin 30 of the XVI relay. THere is no power when I jump pin 30 to both 87s or with the relay.

So...here is my question. The 1984 (I don't have the diagram for '83) CE panel output diagram from the current flow manual shows pin 87 of relay XVI being output at pin 8 of CE Panel Connector 'X'. That is the 12V to the ECU.

My CE Panel has nothing in Connector 'X' (no male pins). I do have a little 2 pin connector tied in to Connector W that is not plugged in to anything.

So, does the 12v for the ECU leave from a different connector in 1983 versus 1984, or do I have something else going on?

Thanks -

-scott
