I have a left side (driver) window regulator from a 1990 car with less than 30K miles one it. The motor is not functional. The regulator works fine.

The motor may be able to be repaired if you have a spare. The carrier for the magnets is messed up and the the magnets are worn funny. However you can source the motor from eBay cheap if you know what to look for. The drive motor is a generic part used in Saabs, Volvos, mercedes and others. I'd seen them cheap as $20. The motor is has two part numbers on it, it must be made by Brose for Bosch.
