maybe a stupid question...but this is a picture of the interior of the car I'm picking up on Friday. Did the glove box go away on later cars in favor of the airbag? Or is it hidden somehow and I"m just not seeing it?

There is not a good picture of the glovebox in that eBay listing, but it is located below the airbag.

The edges of the glove box are visible. The black rectangle houses the little handle that releases the glove box.

It drops down like this (stolen from an old post of mine) (and note that you can see the same black rectangle housing the release handle):
