Default Tire Pressure Warning Gremlins

I don't have pressure sensors so the light should always be on, on the dash. I may disable it but it doesn't bother me. However it has now started flashing on and off and that is annoying. I'm wondering if I may have a bad ground or something. Don't really know much about the tire warning system so not sure where to start. It's a 1990 S4.

Thanks for the link. I'll disable it at some point. I'm more concerned with what is causing it to flicker though. Suggests something is wrong.
