question for y’all. I removed the rubber from the post in the mirror. No way any of that is saveable. I’ll need to hook up new connectors to the wires. Before I try and source an OEM, what do you think about using a forked connector like the one below?

For what it's worth, I'd bet a nickel that those are the same connectors that are in the standard 14 pin connector that are used in various places around the car. I'm pretty sure Roger has them.

As to the connector above, I think you're going to want more surface area contacting the post. I have never measured the size, but standard bullet connectors can probably be made work, if OEM is troublesome.
