Inflation continues to push my McGyver threshold upward. It used to be $20 dollars and now it is $30.

I attacked this with a bag of Tee fittings that seem to work just fine. If there was high velocity air in the circuit I might think the Y shape might matter. It is not original but it is functional and you do have to remove the fender liner to see it.

I can get them in stainless steel, but my cost is about $52 as a tee and $76 as a wye.
I assume that price is too high, even in stainless.

Sounds about right. 20 years ago when I 'commissioned' the first batch of SS y-connectors, my cost was $20 and some folks hem'd and haw'd (until the broke for a second or third time the brittle OE part.)

... and it was that cheap only because 'my guy' was using scrap SS tubing that would otherwise have been tossed. There's a lot of labor involved in making the damn things.

At this point, one could probably have them 3d-printed in metal for less than $50. Maybe less. Even some of the cheaper plastics might be resilient enough for the application. So long as they don't melt, bending isn't a big deal.

Hey! GT6ixer? Where are you man?
