Default ABS problem

Well crapola looks like I may miss my first sharktoberfest with a carhttps://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/bigcry.gif '81 has oil leakage, grey '86.5 just refuses to start and red '86.5 has a bit of abs trouble (I am sure it is only a coincidence this showed up after the bump from semi last 'fest)

When car is started the abs warning (on cluster) and the '!' turn on. Push reset and '!' goes off (cluster on still) It was like this last time driven. Today same thing but the '!' did not turn off. Drove car to 55mph or so and pushed reset and lights went off. Parked car for 10 min and same situation, light will cancel after 50mph is reach.

Can brake dust on the magnetic parts cause this or is it more likely relay or???
Any suggestions appreciated.

you can drive the car with it working or without it working.
the brakes will still function normally except no antiskid.
based on your report the relay on the CE panel is failed,
I would also pull each of the sensors and clean them.
Also inspect the wire connections and the ground connections at each wheel ,
deoxit the connections
