Default Horn pad: Porsche vs 928

Sorry if this is posted elsewhere but after much searching I cannot find my answer!

i notice than many of the 928 four spoke factory wheels have "928" embossed, with some having the "S" embossed as well kind of surrounding the numbers. Many more, however, seem to have "Porsche" embossed, much like on my 944. So is there a correct style by year, or were they just different options? Did the 1985 US 928S have the "928S" pad option available?

'85 through 86.5 and I believe S4's too have embossed "Porsche".
