Race model gts? And sourcing parts
Hey all, I've recently decided I'm taking my old mans 928 GTS off him because his just letting it sit there, she needs some love, jig work, new rear quarter panels, paint work, and a few little bits and pieces, anyways why I'm here is because I've always been told that this car is an production race car, raced with pirelli, it has the holes to show there would have once been a roll cage, and it has bucket seats and a porsche race steering wheel, but I'm a realist and I know my dad talks abit of poo, is there anyway to find out the history on this car at all? And also if anyone could source rear quarter panels cheaper then $3000 each, that would be great, thanks all, basil.

Pics? Maybe a VIN? There certainly are experts here that can help, but you have to give them some basic info to start from. What part of the world you're in also will help to determine 928 specific parts retailers.
