Door lock barrels (compatability with 928)
I want to change the old door locks ( only work with remote). I have already fitted a new hatch lock and repaired the gas cap with one of Alan / JP's metal pawls. Are these types of lock available aftermarket or were they used by other vehicle manufacturers. Any advice of where to look would be much appreciated.

Door lock cylinders have a "928" part number (928-537-903-02 for non-alarm version) and I don't think were used elsewhere. 928 Int'l has used ones for $60 and may be able to re-key them for you.

Ive just found a post of Mark's from last year with an even better price and messaged him to query also the cost of rekey and post to Ireland. Waiting in hopeful anticipation.
