Have been a long time viewer of this forum - and have had an internal battle going on if I should buy an early 911 or a 928 for years as a weekend car

Either way it has to be a 5 speed - have had 240z and Cobra (replica) 5 speeds in the past and I need to get back to the 5 speed experience as they are a true driving experience

Was recently on business in Germany however and had a ride in new'ish 911 on the autobarn doing 240km/hr. It was always thought it would be great to do this - and frankly it was a little disappointing. The car was cramped - noisy and I think now when I get home to NZ, i'm convinced now i'm definitely going to get a 5 speed 928

Hard to find a 928 5 speed in NZ - but watch this space
