Cool Another movie with a 928

Was watching the 1985 movie, Weired Science the other day and to my suprise there is a 928 in it. It is only in a few shots but was good to see one of our own. Any one else seen the movie and spotted the 928?

OK,
Then which movie has an alien and a police officer/detective chasing another alien bad guy? They were using a 928 S, copper/gold metallic if I recall...good chase scenes.

Porsche928drive,

Didn't Donald Sutherland play in that movie? I believe he was driving the 928. They had these cool guns that shot this strobe light beam that caused people to blank out and go into sort of a trance for a few seconds.
Maybe that's not the one you're referring to but there was an early 928 in it...early 80s.

I saw a 928 in Days Of Thunder as well the other night.

Its the scene where Cruise is waiting for Kidman in the hospital parking lot after his examination.
It was a white widebody by the looks of it......

Never saw that one before

Days of Thunder = Top Gun on the ground???

Such a realistic movie, that Days of Thunder is!!! Why...I'm SURE that EVERY Neurosurgeon rides a motorcycle without a helmet!!!

Nonetheless - fun to watch...and GREAT in surround sound!

Porsche928drive,
I think you are talking about "The Hidden". The body-snatching alien bad guy always stole ferraris and the 928 guy would have to give chase, putting the shark to good use.

That movie with strobe/device was "Looker". Starred Albert Finney, directed by Michael Crichton, circa 1981. Finney drove a burgundy(?) 928...got "strobed" and ended up in a water fountain.

Wierd Science has the black 928 and whats cool is they also have the Ferrari Mondial which is on my to buy list. Two very cool cars in the same driveway.

A few months back I saw the music video for Deep Purple's "Perfect strangers" and the beginning of the video looks like it is filmed by sticking a camera out the sunroof of a 928 while driving. I say this because at the bottom of the screen, every time the car hits a bump you can see those trademark headlights. If I recall there is another shot of the car in front of a really nice house later in the video.

Also in the KISS video for "reason to live" there is a really nice Black S4 that gets set on fire through some cheesy special effects. I have read that the car in the video was Paul Stanley's personal car. Kind of cool to see the cars no matter how cheesy the videos are...
