93 GTS just died - stranded on 85S
Driving down I85 in Atlanta this morning, doing about 30mph with heavy traffic and car just dies. Was able to coast into center median. Car will crank and fire but then immediately dies. Have done nothing to her other than fill up at the BP with 93 octane this morning.
Thought I would post whil awaiting AAA, all important relays were replaced in May along with new fuel pump and filter. Checked for any visible vacuum lines that might be lose and found nothing.
Help appreciated.

Brian, car died about 5 miles from my house, so towing it there 1st as it's much closer and I need the ride home to grab the 996. I'm hoping I can get it running once home and not dodging tractor trailers!

I am glad you are so close to home. Still an inconvenience. The verizon tow service and I have become pretty good friends over the last couple of years........

If you have the alarm option you may want to try getting out of the car, lock the door until you hear the cycle complete, unlock the door, wait for the cycle to complete.
Sometimes the cycle has to reset.
Has helped me several times...try it.

Standard diagnostic procedure, looking for fuel pressure/pumps running, no continuous injector clicking with engine not running, etc.
Oh, and before Shawn Stafford reminds you, Make Sure There Is Gas In The Tank.

As you just filled up this morning, my first thought would be you may have sucked up a bunch of sediment from the BP tank and your filter is now clogged. Just a thought... Or maybe that's completely unrelated.

Did cross my mind, especially since I only got about 4 miles before she just died. Am putting together a list of things to check tonight when I get home. Appreciate all the pointers.

Check CPS connections
Check for fuel pressure at rail
Check fuel pump is running (have jumper)
Check fuel filter
unplug MAF
pull computers and put in 87 to see if it starts (if not then swap 87 computers into GTS)
Will update as I check things off the list.

Low tech, low cost, very revealing:
Remove air cleaner cover and air cleaner.
Spritz carb cleaner(NOT ether) into the MAF intake while a buddy cranks the engine.
Engine fires on carb cleaner --> Jumper fuel pump, check pump relay, wiring.
Engine does NOT fire on carb cleaner --> Check CPS wires, alarm, LH/EZK relay and then EZK, etc.
