Default Clutch engagement binding

Well after 5 weeks I finally got my car back from the Porsche dealership. $4,000.00 Holy sh*t!! I thought I purchased one of their bays. Anyway, while test driving my car today (1988 944 Turbo S) at 5000 or higher rpm's (not redlining), I depressed the clutch and it binded for a split second then it went down normal as if it was binding at the very top or caught on something. I looked around the area but there is nothing for it to bind to, this only happens at high rpms. I know the mechanic had my intake off, could this be a vaccumm problem or a bad slave cylinder. Again it's only at the top that it binds for a second then it goes to the floor as normal. I drove it from California at all different speeds for 3500 miles, so I know it's something that just recently went bad or something he put together wrong or broke. I posted on the 951 board but nobody knew the cause. Thanks in advance, Reno

Dude, You are definitely on the wrong board! 944/951 are nothing like 928s. Ck the clutch pivot pin to make sure it's secure in the bellhousing and not coming out.Good luck!

Thanks, I'll have my mechanic check that out. Reno
