Default LSD ?

My '80 feels like it has LS as it's most noticeable when I leave the driveway when it's cold. My VIN says it doesn't but there is always the possibilty that it could have been added by one of the PO's. Is there a code number on the diff?

I'd be impressed if a PO stamped some sort of code on the tranny case when adding a limited slip. Early LSD-equipped transmissions had a /12 stamped into the case after the model # to indicate LSD. Not sure when that ended.

G'day, another check, engine off (just a safety thing) chock front wheels, select neutral, park brake off, jack rear wheels off the ground, spin a wheel forward, if LSD then the opposing wheel will also spin in the same direction, if not then opposing wheel will spin OPPOSITE direction from the other.
You may already know this, apologies if so.
