Default Oklahoma 928 Owners

Are there any 928 Owners on here from Oklahoma, better yet OKC area.

I went to the local PCA gathering a little while back. a bunch of nice great guys but I didn't see any other 928's there.

I was wanting to meet some others with 928's

Oklahoma 928 Rennlisters that I know of:
  • Richard, aka RKD in OKC, has a 94 GTS and is active in the War Bonnet PCA chapter.
  • Brian, aka Olmann, has a 90GT, 93GTS, and I think an 85 Euro if I'm not mistaken. He's in the OKC area.
  • Jason in Altus has an 80(?).
  • I'm in Tulsa and a member of the Cimarron Region, though I'm not active in the club.
I previously lived in Edmond and saw a few other 928s around town, in OKC, and at Dumont's. I occasionally see one here in Tulsa, but not very often.

There's a big group of 928 owners in the DFW area that we run with - headed up by parts guru Roger Tyson along with super mechanic Sean Ratts and the social butterfly that is Chuck Schreiber (hi Chuck!). I like to say I hold down the DFW Gang Northern Command.

That's all I can think of at the moment. If you, Richard, and Brian ever want to meet up in Edmond/OKC, I'd be happy to drive over.

Hey James,

I'm here in OKC, South Edmond actually.
Be happy to do lunch or dinner sometime. Love to get together and chat cars.
You can currently visit my GTS at Dumont's, but they tell me I will be driving it in a week or two.

Hello! Jared is right on what 928's I own. Summer get togethers are always a challenge for me as the family and I spend almost every weekend at the lake. Season is winding down and I have should have more time for a meet.

Hey James,

I'm Rick - I'm in Lawton.

I have three 1984S cars, but all projects for now. I have a handful of 986 Boxsters and a 996 - all drivers.

I'm always good for meeting with another 928 guy - just say when.

Jarrod,
What about 6mil928? Is he still around?

Also, there's Whatudrivin in OKC. I don't think he's ever gotten his car on the road, but he's around.

You Oklahoma guys are starting to get a little traction.

Yes, if I was still in the OKC area I would have already done so. It's an approximate 1.5hr drive for me currently. If any of the OKC guys want to do so, I'm sure I can make it occasionally.

I'm up for a drive to OKC as are a handful of the DFW crew. Just plan it and we will be there.

That would be great. I'd love to have you/Roger/Chuck/Jim see the *** Convention Center and adjacent Bricktown entertainment district and get your feedback on their use as a possible future OCIC site.

Let's plan a quick weekend trip and stay up for a Saturday night. Could be fun.
