Full Pacsha seats by Budd BTW are in no way $500 (budget $3500-4000) for Front & rear and door cards). The stuff is imported from Germany and is ridiculously expensive. Given the rarity and cool factor you would HAVE to keep them.

I like the color combo. Pretty rare to see Pascha post '79 let alone in a hellblau car. Early cars had the rear wheels "tucked" to allow for tire chains, in '83 or so spacers pushed the wheels out more. You could get spacers to do the same easily. Blue/black Pascha luckily is available. The leather dash is also lucky, as the vinyl dashes crack and are NLA. Rob Budd can Redo along with pod and seats. The period Alpine is cool as well. Paint looks like it may clean up as well. In non-running condition this is sub 3k car, if runs 5k or so. Would be worth the save I think but will be some $$....
As far as the interior, I think it only needs replacement of the drivers pacsha from what I can see from the various pictures. The rest of the interior looks good but who knows, perhaps the rest will deteriorate as soon as I start using it. The leather on the seats looks perfect and I feel confident I can bring it back but the dash and console will need replacement.
I guess I need to decide what to do, car won't last

If I were you, I'd talk to Jim Doerr at 928 Classics, and Rob Budd at Classic9Leathershop.com about this.
Also, keep in mind that you are now in California - which means you'd pay CA labor on anything you need done locally. Rob travels to do interiors of his clients.
Best of luck!
