The older sealed beam units on a 928 are 7" diameter whereas H5 & H4 are 8".

There are some nice 7" H4 conversions available. IIRC, Bosch made one that's a flat-faced lens, similar in appearance but an inch smaller than the original Euro H4 setup.

True, I've looked at some of those. I assume I'd still need that out-of-place chrome trim ring though...possibly painting it body color would look better...
