Central warning bulb !
My ! bulb below the hvac console has burned out. Pretty sure it's the bulb since pushing the ! turns off the dash warning, as in a low fuel situation. Is this bulb readily available and easy to replace? I'm no stranger to pulling the unit out and a search turned up no info.

Its easy to get to. Just remove the trim (the hard part) and unscrew the 2 screws holding it in. Then a few screws on the back, separated the PCB from the housing and you have access to the bulbs.
Not sure if they are soldered in though. Its been a while since I've torn one apart.

Great seeing you too
Word of caution. The center console trim loves to snap in half so I recommend taking your time with it as it is no longer cheap at $40 for a new piece. It used to be $7...

Ok the bulb is fine. I checked fuses, although not really sure which one could be the culprit based on the description of fuse location.
All dash lights working, seat belt, locking button works. Any ideas where I should look next?

The cancelling switch lamp is on fuse 7, gets hot power from the CEB and gets ground from the central indicator box under the dead pedal. That magic box is probably where the trouble lies if the fuse is good.

Fixed! Quite an ordeal. Had to reflow the boards on the central control unit and clean everything with deoxit and brush everything down. After reflowing connections all the lights were on, then some, then some other ones. It was quite insane and could not figure it out. What did it was the cleaning and brushing. I'm not even sure if the reflow was needed. Anyways, now on to cv boots!
