Thanks, Jon, but the truth is I struggle with woodworking. Euclidean geometry is unreliable in my presence. My work area was supposed to be a well-equipped woodworking shop; I'm having more luck messing with old cars.
MjRocket: Here's the device in its storage/shipping configuration:
Is the windshield new or used? If used whats the condition?
Thanks
It is NOT new. The previous caretaker sourced the used glass after suffering a 6" crack from a stone. The crack never grew, hence the glass was never install. On my second inspection cycle, the shop failed the car. I ended up going the safelite route.
I can bring the following, but need a commitment to purchase for a fair price first:
Passenger side door - complete with window and electric motor, no mirror - black, has rub strip
Driver's side door - has window and regulator no mirror or motor, very slight damage to front at rub strip, blk
Hood and front fenders blk
Absolutely perfect polished stainless GT rear muffler
Downpipes with good cats for '87+ cars

I'll have quite a few smaller items as well.

Did you not get my response to your PM on the passanger side door?
Hi Gary, I am interested in the GT muffler, how much for the GT rear muffler?
What is the paint condition of the hood and fenders?
I am looking for original paint,
Thanks ,
Stan

I'll take the wheels/tires and the hood liner, please. I don't have a good plan on how to get them home. I can put them on the car, of course, but then I'd have my four manholes to deal with. Anyone want some nice manholes? I got them from Adam. Good Bridgestones on the front, rears are nearly gone (one of my motivations). Maybe two bare rims plus two wheel/tires will fit in the back (not four - I just tried an old set). I think so.
I'll actually be passing closely by your place on the way down to Williamsburg the Saturday or Sunday before. I can think of a complicated scenario, where we swap wheels, you have the rear tires removed during the week, and you bring them to Frenzy....
Curt - may be interested in the wheels but likely unable to take them back from Frenzy unless I have a different vehicle at Frenzy other than a 928. I'll PM you for more info.
(BTW be careful offering your 'Manholes' at a sausage-fest like Frenzy....just sayin' especially with those meat packin' guys floating around...).
I think I have a three-way deal confirmed, among me, Otto and Jon.
If it becomes important, think I've worked out that two wheels with tires and two bare rims will fit flat in the back of a 928. Plenty of dirty underwear and socks can be stuffed into their insides, too.
On another note, I've just been educated on the current rarity of manholes having a good anodized finish. Jon, I sent you a PM.
Yep those are rare, most get hit with wheel cleaner which will damage the anodizing. They were from my 87, the original owner babied the car since day 1.
