Road tested all Porsche models from that year, I think '85, but can't be sure. All models were red. Can't recall if it was r&t, car and driver or ??? I've searched high and low, can't find a thing relating to it. Really cool article, had some amazing pictures. I remember one was all of the cars at a chevron station taken at night. Anyone remember this article?

 

Found it. There is a copy on the rennlist gallery, but it is very pixelated and unreadable. I've ordered a copy and will scan it when I receive it. Cheers

 

and for the cover shot the 928 was at the back of the pack or they saved the BEST for LAST !!

 

Check the photo credits for that feature. Our own Ron Perry was doing a lot of the pics for R&T sometime in that period.

I think it was 'save the best for last,' decent article on the 928. I love that picture of the cars at the gas station. It would be cool to reproduce it. I know a cool guy with a guards red 928, just need a few others
