Sorry. No pic, but my wife and I are driving though beautiful downtown Arlington, Texas after having our weekly Mexican Sunday fare, and a white S4 pulls up to a traffic light on the side street and turns left in front of me. I have not sen the car before and did not know the driver nor his wife seated in the passenger seat. They had the windows down and I was able to catch up with them and share my interest in their car and let them know of our monthly breakfast. They only had the car a week, but hopefully they will attend the breakfast.
No Pictures either but I saw 2 this summer in upstate NY. One was going by the Glen dairy bar in Watkins glen and was a white early model, and the other was a 1988 getting worked on at Hiway Hify in Ithaca.
Sorry no pics, but I spied an early model, white 928. It zoomed by me (oncoming) today in New Freedom PA. I was driving my SVX, so bummed I wasn’t driving one of mine at the time.
Must be a run on 928s’ in the York PA area. Aside from the 3 I own; my daughter just spied this beauty in our hometown of Red Lion PA. S4 model with custom spoiler.
Funny, I’m not even in town, but my daughter just loves the 928. I’m probably going to end up giving her one of mine some day.

Saw an abandoned black manual gts yesterday. Horrible black paint job, tan interior in disarray and various major engine parts in the interior. I did spot a cool factory looking wood shift ****. Guy came out of the building where the car was so I was reluctant to take a photo. Good thing I didn’t as it was an awful sight to see.
Spotted this one three yers ago and forgot about it... Well - I tried to... Went through the town again last week and morbid curiosity got the best of me - sure enough - still sitting there.

Yep, its a slush box... Probably full of interesting wildlife. Faint aroma of skunk emanating from under it. One of those cars that if offered to me for free? I'd pass...
If you guys are like me then you get excited when you spot a 928 out in the wild. I've seen a few random posts where someone sees a car out on the street and I thought it would be more interesting to have one spot where we can all post our finds! It's one thing to see these cars at an event or in a sales ad, but nothing's better when you see one when you least expect it!
So this thread should have one simple rule: Only post pictures of cars that you have never seen before when you are out and about. So no pics of your car or your friend's car, that's too easy!
I'll kick it off with this work in progress that I saw today while strollering my son on Alki Beach in Seattle.
Saw these two at the Porsche dealer... The black 86 was in for a full timing belt change and its a 5-speed. Well taken care of!
The red S4 is also in for dealer level service. This dealer has a mechanic that is full on enthusiast and the service manager owns one as well. It's pretty cool th have a dealer that knows and services 928's. I have not had them work on any of mine but they do great work on the 911's and Cayennes.

If i remember correctly, the garage owner talked to me some time ego about this GTS for low millage (17K) Kilometres!..
It might be the same car but if I remember well, the one I'm thinking of had about 40k kms back in 2006 and was not driven much at that time.
Also, there was a big dent on the driver side mirror. It might have been repaired though...
The rest of the car was perfect...
