Yes, that is one of Jim Doerr's cars. Very nice, should be very attractive to someone looking for a great 'old bugger'.

Strange title, Wally.

Yes, this is #78. She's the 78th 928 built, May 1977. I'm seller 'er on BaT.

Off to a good start with a fantastic reception... Hope she finds a good next owner!

Good luck, Jim.

It will be fun/interesting/exciting to watch.

Can you tell us more about the white rim color choice? And in these two pictures, car looks done...but on th BaT site it shows it with no door panels and stuff. Thought maybe you were selling it as a project at first.

Brian.

As always, these cars are a work in progress. Some of the 'unfinished' stuff was part of early submission photos (on my camera phone). My digicam fell in a bucket of water, so I just acquired a replacement. true story.

The white PD's were inspired by an early 928 prototype photos (there were 3 but I only have one at hand) in the book Project 928.

Which inspire this shot

Car looks great...and yes...as I was typing "project car"...I thought the same thing...are they really, truly...ever done.

I wish I had Tony Lapine and Ferry Porsche looking at my car!

Yeah man, the heat has been tough here too.
