Stunning, "I find myself wanting to put my manhole covers back on" just doesn't sound right

Beautiful car. Your black paint looks outstanding.....But, you need to one more cosmetic fix to make the whole package perfect. Your car is like a beautiful girl with a gorgeous smile. Except she has one decayed ugly tooth. You need to paint the exhaust shield and tips. Very easy to do and it makes a big difference.

Before

After

Fix that tooth!

How about some interior pics?

Wow your car looks amazing, and I love the platinum finish "manholes" on the car. Personally, I only like the stock telephones on the early cars, and the stock manholes on the Sport Package and S cars. They just match the car perfectly. Beautiful in black!!

Thanks for the suggestion WyattsRide. I think the lighting is causing the exhaust tips to appear worse than they actually are. The exhaust is in exceptionally good shape...but I'll admit the photo doesn't reflect that. I like your idea for a refresh though. I think I'll attempt to do that at some point. Thanks again for the photos, much appreciated.

Nice, the car looks new.
The wheels do look very nice.
NOTE if you smear them with vaseline then wipe em off they will look new.

Just curious whats is your ride height now?

Yeahhh, those are nice wheels. I think the 7-slots are the most distinctively 928 wheel style. Some of the later 944s came with them, but I don't think they match the 944's styling nearly as well. I wish I had the original factory finish on my manholes, although the polished look does contrast better with the silver paint.
