Sorry, "but all's fair in love, war and 78 parts finding"...lol.

I've stolen her phone, she is in a panic looking for it. I'll give it back after I perform permanent block on Deputy and E-man's incoming phone numbers....

Actually, I really do discuss every purchase with her. Made the mistake of NOT doing so once. Only once. And for you younger viewers out there, I suggest you do NOT make the same mistake.

She has been very tolerant of my 'affliction'...only problem now is we sold her Tahoe, and I immediately grabbed 'her' spot in the garage for Chiffon. There will be hell to pay if there is not a spot in her garage for her new BMW. Time to make some changes, fast. Will be moving cars around shortly.

I may have under-estimated my opponent here...lol.

Must resort to plan B...snail mail.

OK, once again late to the party on a possible score for a DD!

So, since I'll have no dog in this hunt, I'll try to answer the OP's question - "what's my car worth?"

Looking at the pictures, I assume it is a fairly well sorted example. On the negatives, I see a broken front chin spoiler and rear mud flaps, but I see some positives - no rear a/c, sports seats, leather interior, altho pulling back on the dash. Great color combination too, but not the typical gotta have it red or blue. If the maintenance is up to date, including timing belt/water pump, and fuel lines, vac lines and other rubber under the hood, I'd say $15K to $20K for this car all day long. I'd be higher if it was an 86.5.

So...Alex must have bought it for me. I guess I'm going to have to be nicer to him from here on out...him buying me a 928 and all.

But, seriously.

Sorry to see you leave the 928 world so quickly. You scored a nice car, can't help but wonder what went "south" with the acquistion? Was hoping to see this car in Hell, Michigan 928 get together.

Good luck, with whatever purchase comes your way next time.

Brian.

Mudflaps. Fur crissakes, that's your problem.
Seriously, I think you should get it tuned, but that is moot now.
