Default Chevron Maganese-Free

Chevron is now advertising at the pumps that their gas is now 'Maganese-Free'. Is this good, bad or makes no difference. Just curious. B.

You have to have seen the movie Caddyshack. Joel is referring to Carl the psycho greens-keeper (Bill Murray) rattling off technical terms like manganese.

Well, that's great news! (I guess?)

Well, they wouldn't be "advertising" it if they didn't think it was a positive issue? However, I haven't heard of it. Would like to know more. MTBE is big here now that New Hampshire is suing the big guys for contaminating the water supply with that stuff. So here we go.
