Default Cowl Cover

I just received and installed my new cowl cover from Jerry Feather.

What a great product . . . thanks, Jerry!

I have Jerry's spare tire cover as well. Both are well worth the money.

Here's a quick photo installed. I might need to take one in the daylight so you can see it a little better!

There are two or three threads about these Cowl Covers if you do a search. I developed these in two versions which I think are suitable to cover all models of the 928. One version does not have the opening for the WS intensive washer bottle cap access and the other does. The version without is suitable for 79 to 86 cars and 92 to 95 GTSs. The other fits 87 thru 91. Then there are two other versions for the RHD cars that are configured opposite.

The price is now $90 plus S&H of $20 to domestic locations. I also provide a new Cowl Seal that is $15. For those cars after about 84 which have the Shell Sticker on the Cowl Cover (of for any 928s for that matter) I also have duplicated the Shell Stickers in 5 or 6 different versions which I supply with or without the Cowl Cover. They are $5 with the Cover or $7.50 each mailed separately. You can pay by Paypal or however you like. Send me a PM.

Here are some pictures: The first ones of the RHD version.

P.S. Stan, thanks for the nice report and the plug. By the way, you are missing the little rubber seals that fit in the hole at the ends of the Cowl Seal. I think Mark A has some of those at 928 Int'l.

The Priority mail to the UK is $50. If you want all three items (4, with both stickers) your total will be 90 plus 15 plus 10 plus 50 US, or $165. You can paypal to me at my email address or I can send you an invoice to yours.

So far as I can tell from looking at 928 pictures and a bit of input for guys with an 84, it appears that some time in the MY 84 the Factory changed from putting the yellow sticker with red printing on the air box and started putting it on the Cowl Cover. I can't tell when, or even that, for sure.

Jerry,
Thanks to this thread I fixed my AC! Long story...

Anyway, I'll take the whole kit for an 86.5 with no bottle.
