Not clear in the pic I posted, but seats are vinyl, not leather. They look too original to have been recovered. I wish they were cloth to match the rear.

Just decided to buy the car. Would love to find the pin stripe cloth and do the seats again. However, probably cost more than it would be worth.
Just talked to the owner and he had the center inserts in both seats done years ago when the fabric seams gave out. Said it cost near $2000.
I'm now reactivated on this forum. This will be my 7th 928!

Congratulations! Been checking this car from North Cali for awhile too, but the asking price scared me off a little. Hopefully, it comes with a lot of service records, since he owned it since '94. Nice purchase.

Oops! Complete screw up on my part. I was thinking about vinyl side supports, which is what my original pasha seats had. Which means they were not completely vinyl.

Most likely looked like this, originally.
These are my seats before I had Rob (Classic9leather) redo them, the black portion had turned greenish color. Just got word they are ready for pick-up. The stripped material is an up-charge, more in line with leather seat covers (if you go to his web-site).
Would like to see more pictures of #917.
Brian.

Thank you Brian. I won't have the car for a couple of weeks. I will post some pics then. I am saving your pic as a reference. I would love to see your new seats when you get them. I have not seen a pic of the door panels on my car. Hope they are cloth pin stripe like yours.

We have a few more seats to do.
