A half hour of searching this site and the web and nothing about where it is. Obviously simple and likely mounted on the roof but I can't find it!

I have the starter circuit failing to work and I am pretty sure it is the safety switch.

Left side of the gearbox, part of the selector/indicator switch. The switches themselves are fairly robust. They connect to the wiring harness in the spare tire well, and depend on the ground connection at the forwardpart of the well IIRC. Best to troubleshoot through the connector towards ground and see where the path leads you.

I'm at the connection point. Where is it grounded. Not sure what iirc means

Case closed. Before finding the ground, I tested continuity on all the pins in the connector. The male pin in the connector going to the ground wire was the weak connection. Repaired the crimp. Car runs.
