928s for Sale

'90 GT on BaT with more than it's share of "collision" history totaling over $20K CAD in insurance payouts. Filthy on the inside. Unreal that the dealer put it up with out at least wiping all the dust off of the seats. Left a battery tender laying in the engine bay unplugged? Wow. My guess is that this one fails to meet reserve.

Were there some Cdn 928's in 90 that came from the dealer without airbags? I know some of the euro 928's could be ordered without airbags, but thought Canada got essentially the North American ones..????

LH harness mis-routed on both sides.
Don't get me started about the battery maintainer.
Me thinks the previous technician learned to work on 928s with this one.

More interesting in that it's a 90 with US style side markers and non-airbag dash/steering wheel as well as old style shifter.

Interesting..missed that thread..
If you look close at the one pic post in the BAT listing, you can see that it's a non-airbag dash, but still has the later airbag console and the pod does look like an airbag pod...
Makes me wonder if its a rebuild..doubt Porsche would leave a gap like that between the console and dash...really looks pieced together..

This car was for sale last year. There was some discussion on it back then, and it seems as if airbags were optional in many countries outside of the US, so it's possible that it came without airbags from the factory.

Some guy down in Florida had a Corvette converted into a Mach 5, including the saw blades.

Looks exactly like an '89 to me. Maybe I missed something.

1989 928 GT I owned a bunch of years ago. Price is double what I sold it for ~17 years ago...
Not a fan of those wheels

Fairly priced if up to date Service has been done and mileage is accurate. Hard to find good original low mile examples. Gt's surely have been increasing in value. Being that it was your car Chuck, I am sure it was in good shape before you passed it on.

Agreed. It had about 30k miles when I sold it to a dentist in San Diego.
The car won several concours events. Here's a pic from a shine and show at Charlotte Motor Speedway
